Fella is the proud recipient of a mini John Deere metal tractor (+ trailer in the rear!). Although he’s still a bit too young to reach the pedals correctly, we make do!
There’s a little back car that he sits in while Peach pedals, or we just give him a push of his own.
I’m sure you’ll be seeing this green machine in some kid or family pictures…I love the size and vivid color and kids love it, too!
Someday soon, I’ll have to post some pics of my growing prop collection. Much to my husband’s dismay, I seem to be taking over the garage.
Have a great one! ~m

Couple more from this fun session.
I spent so much time at the B family home, having a private session with each of the six kiddos, that we ALMOST didn’t have enough light for the family session. Good thing their home borders a gorgeous park!
We ran down there (literally) and, of course, had some fun together — can’t you just HEAR the giggling in the above pic??? I just *love* being a “part of another family for a session. The dynamics with different personalities, ages, etc. is always exciting and changing. Keeps me on my toes — that’s for sure!
the boys…
Have a great day1

I had SO much fun today with this little lady and her parents in their grand backyard: a dairy farm! It was pretty much a photographer’s dream — so many textures, colors, animals, sounds. So much space for a little one to kick up the dirt and explore her surroundings.
She pretty much ran the show, which was absolutely perfect! She was full of life outside and showed countless smiles,
her beautiful personality,
and many curious glances with her stunning blue eyes.
Definitely one of the bravest little ladies I’ve ever photographed!
Yup, that’s her to the right, face-to-face with one of her cow buddies.
Thanks so much for having me, P family, and I can’t wait to show you the rest!
Have a perfect day. ~m

Had a celebratory afternoon (that morphed into evening) at the train park for the little guy’s upcoming 2nd birthday. Apparently, he “choo-chooed” the entire ride with his arm a-pumpin’.
We love him so.
^ With Mimi & Papa
& in color because I like both versions…
^ Taken through the fence as they’re ALMOST to the station…
Have a great rest of your weekend! ~m

Delicate was the first word that came to mind when I first met little A. Her long, beautiful fingers, tiny female frame & little rosy lips just made me think “delicate.”
She basically just took in her surroundings for most of our session and eventually conked out in mom’s magical arms.
Just perfect.
And here she is, sleeping in Dad’s.
I love the little detail of Dad’s ring in the image. Just makes it their own.
Have one super day! ~m
