You can’t go wrong with a mini-smile and hat combo!

Do you prefer color?

or black and white???

When mom brought out this hat (little S wore this in the hospital) with a MATCHING blankie…my heart skipped a beat.  I’m a total sucker for lovely hats and homemade gear for babies.  🙂

When my daughter was born, a choir friend of mine made her a gorgeous quilt…I was floored!  I think it’s SO important to capture homemade memories, too.  [Especially those that have texture and are colorful…BONUS!!!]  🙂

Have a fun day.  ~m

This little 5-year-old (Happy Birthday C!!!) is an incredible little gal.  She is super sweet, giggly, loves to accessorize (belts, jewelry, you name it!) and has a thing for Bat Girl.

It was nearly impossible to get a still image of her — I like her even more for that.  🙂

Pics of her cutie sibs coming soon.  🙂   Have a great day.  ~m

adrenaline rush(according to Wiktionary) —  a surge of strength and energy brought on by…adrenaline

^  Can’t you just FEEL her energy?  🙂

I met with an awesome woman today — J — who loves to run.  She had SO many awesome ideas for our photo shoot.  We really wanted the evening to be about her and her accomplishments as an elite runner.  I SO dig that.  🙂

^ The cheetah in the above image is her good luck charm.  🙂  It was given to her by her two girls because she’s a “fast runner.”  <—HOW cute is that???

We almost had to reschedule some of the running portion of the shoot because of the darn smoke clouds…but the sun finally came out and created some GORGEOUS golden light.  Phew!

Have a great day and thanks so much, J, for one terrific evening.  🙂

p.s…what gives you an adrenaline rush????   I get an adrenaline rush during each photo shoot…is that bad???  🙂   Also, as much as I get nervous with performing, singing a solo is ONE terrific rush, too.

You see, the mom of this cutie and I are pals.  In April (uh huh…waaaaay back then) I asked mom if I could borrow her daughter for a mini photo shoot.  I wanted to try out a location that a family requested — ya know, check for lighting, see what i thought, etc.  Well, it was swell, until we were busted by a guard, but we still got some great pics.  Some of those were posted here and here

^ Love that little head peeking out!!!  I love the curves and lines in this image.

ANYWAY, after that photo shoot, I got SUPER busy and haven’t been able to breathe much since.  Mom gave me a “gentle reminder” (seriously, my friends have to do that sometimes!) that she’d love to see some more of the pics…SO I dug DEEP into the archives and edited a couple.

THANK YOU, S, for letting me borrow your cutie.  Isn’t she SOOOO adorable???  I *heart* her spunk…always have.    ~m^  Look at all the fun she had!!!  [Some fun post processing!!!]  ALL your images are ready, S!!!  🙂

Oh, and P.S.  — some ROCKIN’ blog changes are coming our way!  Can’t wait to give you a tour!!!

For the next month or so, I’ll be adding some announcements and other printed products to the blog for your viewing (and ordering!) pleasure.  🙂

I’ve had many questions about birth announcements lately, and figure this is an easy place to display your choices!

First up is “the whites” a gorgeously simple collection of birth announcements.  I am always drawn to the beauty of simplicity and think these are clean and classy.  [scroll down to the next blog post to view them]

In the future, I will add shabby announcements (yesss!), more colorful/busy announcements (super cute!), as well as your holiday card choices.  I’ve been doing some SHOPPING and only purchasing the best!!!

If you have something in mind that you do not see here, I also do custom digital designs starting at $50.  Scroll down to see those whites!

Have a terrific day.  🙂   ~m

Adorable little J (one of the twins)

***Does it get any cuter than this???  🙂

Well…he kept smiling for me…that was pretty cute!

Aside from his cuteness, I LOVE that fuzzy newborn hair on his shoulder.  That goes away too quickly…

Some images of his sis tomorrow. ~m

{I just couldn’t help posting one more from this shoot–isn’t this hat GINORMOUSLY perfect???}  🙂

When dad saw his little guy with this hat on he got SO EXCITED.  You see, dad and mom love to ski and snowboard (mom skis, dad snowboards).

In no time, little L will be hitting the bunny slopes with his parents.  🙂  To ski or to snowboard????

Get set for some more images of those cutie twins tomorrow.   Hope you all had a fab weekend.  ~m

Couple more shots of this cutie from yesterday…but this time with his loving parents.

^ LOVE it.  A father and his son.  What a special bond.

^ Could this get any sweeter?????  I have an image like this of me and Peach, when she was 3 days old that my mom took.  I love it.

S’s look, gentle touch, hand placement…it all just oozes love.

NOT ONLY is this family super cute, BUT they’re incredibly kind and wonderful, too.  I feel so fortunate to work with such amazing clients on a daily basis.  SO, thank you.  🙂

[terrible migraine this evening, so I’m off to bed…]   ~m
