Can’t ya just HEAR him saying that??? (giving the conductor his ticket!!!)
Our little Fella has a major train obsession. It’s adorable. He loves to put tracks together and run his trains along…talking about their various colors and names (mostly the “Thomas” variety). I’ve been meaning to take him to the McCormick Train Park, but since it’s been SOOO darn hot out, I thought we’d wait…WELL…the weather was overcast and coolER today (unfortonately humid due to the recent storms though).
I SWEAR they were excited!!! 🙂 HAd to put this one in because it TOTALLY cracks me up. I think they look soo much alike (I think the heat is putting them under its spell)
Can’t forget THIS important detail. Notice the mini-train in his hand. He has to have one at all times. :()
^ Waiting the second time around…you can’t go to the train park and go just ONCE!!! 🙂
Had an awesome morning/afternoon with the kiddos! I’m so glad I was finally able to take Fella there!!! 🙂 MORE train park pics TOMORROW…including a couple in the TUNNEL!!!
Have a lovely day!

Fun pictures Maggie! Another train guy, huh? What is it with boys and their trains? 🙂
When i saw how overcast it was this past weekend- i was thinking the same thing. What a nice day for pictures. And then I stepped out and the humidity hit. Kudos to you for braving it out there – the pictures were well-worth it!
#2 cracks me up but I esp. love the #4 — composition, leading lines and bokeh. It has it all.
What a cutie. Reminds me of Gresyson how he is obsessed with cars. Gotta loves boys!! LOVE #4!!
that first shot is steller! how cute is he?
Peach and Fella are just too darn cute! I just want to squeeze them!!!
They look SO much alike in # 2 and, although I haven’t met hubby, so much like you also!
Beautiful kiddos and beautiful images of them!
T and I miss you guys!
Love those catchlights~what a cutie! That’s so fun that he loves trains!
And I love the last post with the mamma and baby….your processing on these images is perfection!
Oh the memories! I just can’t believe how big J- boy is getting…. I love seeing him holding those trains! (it’s Emily, by the way… are you learning names yet?? :p)
THANKS so much for the comments, ladies.
Srilu–the humidity was pretty darn narsty, but we managed! Not much holds me back from a photo op these days. 🙂 Plus I feel SO bad that kiddos have to be so cooped up here in this lovely AZ heat. I’ll take a 93 degree morning anyday!!! 🙂
Jules–I PROBABLY could have told you that train was “Emily.” 😉 HEY, I know all the other ones!!!
I forgot to mention that our train collection has SOOOO awesomely been donated by blog reader, Julie B. Her son T-Bone outgrew all his Thomas stuff, so now we have trains, tracks, books, EVEN a Thomas fork and spoon. Just tonight Fella was choo-chooing his spaghetti into his mouth with “Percy.” Thx!!!
I can’t believe how mature he looks here! Gone are his big chubby cheeks and chunky thighs that I remember! Very cute pics, especially that last one with the black bars popping out and his “aren’t I cool” face!
Maggie – what a fun idea! Gosh, I wish I could get past my very basic knowledge of photography and take even one photo that has the lighting, composition, etc. that resembles that of a professional. Your photos are just stellar and totally stand out. You are so talented! And, OH MY GOSH – J looks so mature and looks exactly like his sister. They have the same mouth – exactly! So gosh darn CUTE!
Thx Amy and Jill. {mwah!}
