The F family was full of life (especially their little guy) as they explored the farm.  The photo shoot went from peeking at vegetables growing nearby, to nestling under the pecan trees for a rousing family sing-a-long.  They did a lot of laughing together and were just all-around relaxed and happy.  I loved hearing A’s jokes and watching dad throw a giggling M into the air for an quick smile.  Thanks for sharing your afternoon with me — here’s a taste of what’s to come!

Look at Miss M!!!

This last picture of Miss M makes me smile at her excitement — I can literally see it from her head down to her toes.  🙂  She’s overcome so much in her life and is such a strong little lady.  See you all soon.   ~m

These pics are from my session with the F family the other day.  When I got together with Mom to choose pics, she decided to go the storyboard route, which is an 10×20 mounted picture, showcasing several images from the photo shoot.  She picked these herself and did an awesome job!   I think little D looks sooo cute…and you can definitely see her spunky personality, which is what this is all about.

All kiddos that have a session with me get a rainbow-colored lollipop (with parent permission prior to our meeting, of course).  I’ve noticed a) it makes for some incredibly colorful and fun shots  b) it’s something for the kids to work for as the session goes on — what kiddo doesn’t like a sweet reward? c) it’s something different and fun — you probably don’t have a picture of your child with anything like this at your home!  and d) kids and families really loosen up and start acting like themselves.  I get some incredible “real” interactions at this point, which I love.

Thanks for reading & be on the lookout for some dance shots of my sis in the next day or two.  Until then, I’m busy editing and taking pics!

What a treat to spend the afternoon with the F family.  They were hilarious and kind.  Loving and playful.  It’s always so fun for me to watch both parents interact with the kiddos and watch the silliness happen.  We have some cute “posed” images for your Christmas card, but I wanted to post things here that were a bit different.  Thanks for letting me be a part of your day, guys, and Happy Thanksgiving!   ~m

The border looks strange on this one, but I know you’re waiting to see these…hope you like!!!  🙂

Oh what fun we had together on Sunday!  These two super fun girls ran around the ASU campus, exploring every nook and cranny, with their mom, dad and me trailing behind.  They were full of smiles and their little legs didn’t stop moving — it was energetic and spontaneous, exactly what one would hope for in a photo shoot.  I hope you guys enjoy these.  I love how different all these images are (and there are SO many more!).   I can’t wait to show you all my absolute faves in person.   See you all soon!     ~m

What a fun time we had on Saturday morning.  I’ve been going through their images for the last couple days and it’s just so hard to pick my favorites!  The kiddos are just too cute, and once little A warmed up, they all were thrilled to be out running around at the marketplace.  They were so loving and sweet with their parents — I loved being able to capture their sweet sides, sweet teeth (loving the lollipops), and active little bodies!  What a gorgeous fam…thanks for being my first family photoshoot guinea pigs.  🙂    ~m
