***Special request for some smiley pics from M while she’s waiting to see her whole gallery.***

She’s too cute and bubbly!  I told her that although her smile is flippin’ LOVELY, sometimes I find myself drawn to her images that are more serious because her eyes are absolutely stunning and show SO much emotion.  Check these eyes out!

Okay, there’s a LITTLE smile in the above photo!  🙂  I love the *hint* of one.

I think my smiley fave of her happens to be the very first pic on the left side in the storyboard up top.  LOVE what she’s doing with her hands…and as Tyra Banks would say (hah!) she’s definitely “Smiling with her eyes.”

And a couple more randoms from our super fun session.  LOVED her timeless dress!

M — your gallery and slideshow will be ready for viewing tomorrow!

Have a fantastic day!   ~m

I’ve pretty much watched these two grow up.  This pic above just pulls on my heart strings.

They’re really that sweet.  (S — are you laughing? — they ARE!)

It was an absolute pleasure “playing” with them today!  🙂

^ a little adorable sass!  🙂

Can’t WAIT to show you guys the rest (couple days!).

Have a good one.  ~m

::wrapped::

Although this isn’t a “typical” maternity image of mine, I truly enjoy stretching my creativity and experimenting with my clients.  For this example, L wanted a shot similar to this and we made it happen. I *love* her look here:  her expression, blowing hair, hand delicately touching her face, other hand (with a touch of attitude) on her hip, lines & shadows created by the fabric, and lastly her perfect belly.

Life as a photographer, for me, means constantly learning and stretching my abilities and creativity  — I always welcome client ideas (and I’m glad clients welcome mine)!  What’s really been eye-opening lately, is an online form I have clients fill out when they book a session.  Their answers truly help me plan for the session and know what type of photography they lean toward.  I REALLY take those seriously — I know it will help our connection even more!

Stay tuned for my latest and greatest in “stretching”!!!  I have some fun equipment coming any day now and look forward to sharing it with you!

Have one incredible day!  ~m

^ I love all the lines in these pics with the water tower, her body, the field…

This wonderful woman loves yoga.  i think it’s incredibly important to bring a piece of you to a photo session, so when we chatted about her interests, this came up.  Not in front of the moon, of course.  THAT was an added perk.  🙂  M–you are gorgeous inside and out.  🙂  I promise, the smiley pics are coming soon!
Have a super day.   ~m

Wow…are they gorgeous, or what???  🙂  I just stopped right in my tracks when I was going through my images this evening.  I LOVE their smiles!

:::This little one is exactly three weeks old.  She was a Labor Day baby and her parents were actually interviewed by a news station a couple hours after her birth.  Get it????  Labor on Labor Day???  🙂  What an awesome story for little A when she grows up.

It was an absolute pleasure working with this family today!

Can’t forget to show her big brother.  He is SUCH a cutie!  🙂

Have a great day!  🙂   ~m

b/w + belly

Got a little funky with the processing!!!  🙂

Just wanted to say that there’s only one regular session left for the month of October left (unless you have a newborn cutie that needs to be squeezed in)!!!  As far as mini sessions go, there’s one spot left for those too!   {Check the “Availability” and “Holiday Info” tabs at the top of the blog if you’re interested in snagging up the some of last spots of 2008!!!}    🙂

I will post availability for November this week!  Just remember, if you’d like images of you or your family for the holidays (gifts, cards, tradition, etc) you must actually have your session completed by 11/16 to ensure holiday delivery.  I’m LOVING these holiday sessions lately!  🙂

Have a super rest of your weekend.   ~m

studio-esque

I had an awesome time with L and her hubby a couple weekends ago.  We spent some time outside & got some wonderfully unique natural light portraits and then moved inside to try and recreate a flowy fabric maternity image she really wanted.  I’m not used to the inside sort of studio image, so it was a fun challenge!  I think she looks absolutely stunning (and she has that prego-glow for sure!!!).

We also got lots of great shots around their lovely home.

I absolutely love maternity shoots.  There’s something so amazing about a pregnant belly and I just LOVE the anticipation, love, and excitement on the faces of the parents-to-be.

And lastly, a vintage-processed nursery pic.  LOVE those little birdies.

Can’t wait to meet the little one in just a couple weeks!  🙂

Have a spectacular weekend!   L and M—your gallery and slideshow will be all ready for you Sunday!   ~m

She said she just wanted me to capture their love…

I think we did just that.  🙂

Have a terrific day.    ~m

And that, folks, is the last of your lovely card options!  🙂  Back to our regularly scheduled PICTURE blogging tomorrow…and boy do I have some more sneak peeks.

I forgot to mention…most cards allow some color changes and ALL can be customized to say what you want!  Merry Christmas, Season’s Greetings, Happy Holidays…you name it!  🙂

Hope you’ve found a fav or two…have a nice day!   ~m
