I had SO much fun today with this little lady and her parents in their grand backyard:  a dairy farm!  It was pretty much a photographer’s dream — so many textures, colors, animals, sounds.   So much space for a little one to kick up the dirt and explore her surroundings.

She pretty much ran the show, which was absolutely perfect!  She was full of life outside and showed countless smiles,

her beautiful personality,

and many curious glances with her stunning blue eyes.

Definitely one of the bravest little ladies I’ve ever photographed!  🙂

Yup, that’s her to the right, face-to-face with one of her cow buddies.

Thanks so much for having me, P family, and I can’t wait to show you the rest!

Have a perfect day.  ~m

Had a celebratory afternoon (that morphed into evening) at the train park for the little guy’s upcoming 2nd birthday.  Apparently, he “choo-chooed” the entire ride with his arm a-pumpin’.

We love him so.  🙂

& in color because I like both versions…

^ Taken through the fence as they’re ALMOST to the station…

Have a great rest of your weekend!  ~m

M braved the elements with me as we drove all over town to find out perfect photo shoot spot.  We ran into millions of mosquitos, fell into an irrigation ditch (uhhhh…that would be ME), dodged ant hills galore, and even had to deal with some stinky areas.  🙂  It was so worth it.  We smiled and laughed through the shoot and had a great time.  You really CAN’T not have a great time with M.

Super smiley, talkative, positive, confident, gorgeous.

Not to mention an incredible singer, business owner, music therapist.

Her huge heart shows in every image.  More coming sooooon (I am SO excited to share some MOON shots with you!)  🙂

Have a great rest of your weekend.  ~m

WHO me?  I didn’t get into any paint!  🙂  My belly button must have done it!

This is what happens when you leave an almost 2-year-old alone for a couple minutes with watercolors.  Believe me, I laughed for a great while!  🙂

I had THE BEST morning with this super fun couple who are expecting a baby in the next few weeks.  They were all smiles and full of great ideas.  🙂

We had fun (minus the ant pile!) roaming around a desert flower-filled greenbelt near their house.   Then we whipped up a natural light studio-ish set up in their living room.  Quite new for me!  I loved being able to experiment inside with a backdrop — I think it’ll be awesome for newborn shoots, too!   Anyway, back to today’s session…

Stunning!

Fun[ky] post-processing with an extra bit of blur.  🙂

Inside images coming within the week!  🙂  I do have to leave you with THE CUTEST pic of their current baby girl — Daisy the Goldendoodle.

An AMAZINGLY sweet, well-behaved doggie.  She was a crack up!

Can’t wait to meet the new baby!  Best wishes, you two for a speedy, safe delivery.

Have a great day!  ~m
